[Plugin: Fluency Admin] works great- but wont show menu on site (genesis errors.. add_meta_box)

the menu bar shows fine in admin, with all options (full drop down, single drop down) but on the site itself it will only show if I have fluency menu off, when I have fluency set to either full drop or single drop the page loads just fine, just no menu bar and at the very bottom of the site I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_meta_box() in /home/letter15/public_html/everydayeve.com/wp-content/plugins/socialize/socialize.php on line 524

if I disable socialize I then get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_meta_box() in /home/letter15/public_html/everydayeve.com/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/admin/inpost-metaboxes.php on line 25

so it is not plugin related, it is theme related…. any ideas on how to fix?
