  • I don’t believe it gets much simpler than that.

    [flashvideo file=video/video.flv /]

    -and if you want to provide a preview image, it think it is like this;

    [flashvideo file=video/video.flv image=path_to_image/imagename.jpg /]

    I do not remember the code each time I need to put a video I have to go back and check the readme.

    Use a previous post for reference until you get used to using it, or you could put the example in a text file on your pc for easy reference until you remember the format. Or you could try this:

    Viper’s Video Quicktags although if memory serves me, in the latest version you may have to make a css adjustment to align video to anything other than “left”.

    Ah it gets simpler than that, trust me !
    Try pro player;
    it’s the same player with a “button”, same jw player.
    …the only problem is, (and I find this meaningless) when you’re adding video, the author of the plugin didnt put the dropdowns to change all the settings of the player, so you can just change some of them.
    I find this totally meaningless..

    …a great button with a bad code, or a great code without a button !….
    ….I’m wondering which one I should go for.

    Ah it gets simpler than that, trust me !

    Then I’m surprised you haven’t found a solution.

    …a great button with a bad code, or a great code without a button !….

    I have contemplated the exact same issues! ??

    I suppose everything is a compromise unless you do it yourself. I think I really like FLV Embed the best. Fast, easy, simple, configurable.

    I was unable to change skin at that… its using an older version of the jw player, I guess. When I try the skins I downloaded from the original jw player’s site, I just see a blank space.

    I know this is off-topic now, but, any solutions for this ?

    Heres some Helpful Info that Helped Me in my process of getting video on to my website in flash?

    https://TheFlashPlayerSource.com/default.asp?pmc=BKLK

    TheFlashPlayerSource.com has tons of great tutrioual videos explaining the installation process and a customer support number for questions reguarding installations.

    They also have different style players Single & Mutiple depending how many videos you want to display

    Check Them Out?

    I would like to second this request. Embedding is fine for me, but my users will NEVER be able to remember what to do to post a video. A button in the WYSIWYG toolbar would be most excellent.
