    Thanks very much Gene!

Right now the only difference between the paid version and free version is small.

We have not completed the paid version
    Paid version offers:

    1. Removal of ‘powered by Five Star Rating’
    2. Different ‘star’ options (‘stars’,’abuse’,’thumbs’,’smiley-face’).
    3. More support

Because you have been so kind to recommend a great suggestion, we would be happy to offer you a copy of the ‘paid’ version.

Reply with a link to your site and we will try to contact you through that site.

    Cheers,

p.s. Is there a template tag which can be used instead of inserting the shortcode in individual posts?

    Andrew

I also have DL your plugin to my Ministry WordPress site. It’s great!

How can I edit the text “Cast you vote now” and it’s color

    Thanks

    Blessings

right now the only way to do so is to edit the files.

You will need to edit the fsr.class.php file (about line 189) and the /assets/css/five-star-rating.min.css (either the .FSR_tvote or .FSR_important). If you want to edit /assets/css/five-star-rating.css and then minify that, it might be easier to find and edit.

    Good luck.

    Thanks. Perfect!

I’m a newbie – sometimes I scare myself when I simply follow instructions. It works!!

    Blessings

After installing 5-star-rating, I noticed that often, the home page of my blog doesn’t load fully, so that the text isn’t framed in a white text box, as it usually is. Instead, the background image shows through, making the text unreadable. Also the side menu doesn’t show up, again because the page isn’t loading fully. There are 10 posts on the home page, so 10 instances of 5-star-rating. The problem sometimes (but not always) corrects itself if I refresh the page. Could it be that 5-star-rating is causing the page to load too slowly or incompletely? Can you suggest a solution?

I think I’ve gone through almost every star rating plugin and you make the short list. I wanted to reach out and say nice plugin! Two questions if I may: I wanted to confirm from the FAQ a) you can only have one star rating per page; and b) is there a way to not invert the ratings before you vote. Keep the horizontal maybe like Netflix rating system.

There is a list of images I wanted to rank and I am struggling with any plugin to do the job.

Best of luck and your plugin is cool.
