[Plugin: File Gallery] How can I get file image working with PettyPhoto script?

  • by the way! Great plugin Just install wordpress a few week ago been working with a theme called u-design and it comes with prettyphoto. I have everything working great but my photos albums were way to large for one page so I downloaded your plugin for the pagination but I can’t seen to get it to work with prettyphoto which is set up to work with fotomoto for my clients to buy photo’s. I have look in this forum and can’t find anything about prettyphoto how to set it up like thickbox ect. hopefully there is a way thank you

    I’ve added PrettyPhoto support in latest release candidate of File Gallery.

    Please download it from here: File Gallery 1.7-RC10

    To make it work you need to:

    1.) on the WP Admin -> Settings -> Media page, add ‘prettyPhoto‘ to the list of auto enqueued lightbox scripts (“Auto enqueue lightbox scripts for which link classes (separate with commas)?“)

    2.) set [gallery] link class value to ‘prettyPhoto’

    Maybe you can give me some ideas for a plugin that will work with file gallery or something in a future release. Maybe it isn’t possible with the state of the word press gallery. I have look everywhere and can’t find anything close to what I’m looking for.

    I looking for a plug-in /script that will make favorites for the user while browsing through the gallery. I use gallery 3 for some of my old galleries and they have an add-on that puts a star at the top left corner of every photo and if the user likes the photo they can click on the star to make it a favorite after browsing they can click on a button call my Favorites any will assort all the pictures from that gallery and put them on one page. This would be a great feature for people that have tons of photos in one gallery. Could this feature be in file gallery one day?

    that’s really where another plugin should step in, I currently see no need (and also don’t have the time :/) to add that functionality to File Gallery.

    Attachments are also posts, so any favorites plugin should do. Visual display is then just a matter of a custom File Gallery template.

    I’ve had no trouble working with (and modifiying) WP-Favorites plugin.
