Plugin file does not exist

  • I randomly keep having this issue where the plugin just “disappears”.

    When I log in, it says the following on the plugin page:

    The plugin contact-form-7/wp-contact-form-7.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist.

  • The form on my website disappeared several days ago. All it says on the page where the form used to be is this “[contact-form-7 id=”4″ title=”Contact form 1″]” I guess its called the “short code”
    I tried to reinstall the “contact form 7” plugin but i get an error in the WP dashboard that says “”failed to connect to FTP server” this is becoming a PITA.
