[Plugin: Feed.nu] Excellent plugin ! (but…)

Hello, I’m the webmaster of Don du Sang Paris (blog about blood giving in Paris)

With this plugin I could very happily create an Android app from my blog ! It’s really great, easy and takes only a couple of minutes !

However I have some ideas or want to report bugs :
– the app stores the last articles (titles and content) on the SD card which is good. However, when “updating”, the app will check new articles but will not check articles that have been deleted, nor those which have their date changed. I sometimes change the date of an article when I update it and when I want it in the top list. So sometimes, to get the accurate list, you need to delete all messages in the app and refresh all to get the correct list. The “update” synchronizing algorithm should be a bit more smart to avoid this problem.
– the app should offer the ability, for those who want it, to surf also on the “pages” of the blog, and not only on the “posts” (RSS feed). Maybe it’s a bit harder because WordPress provides no feed for the pages as it does for the posts ? But it would be cool if possible. For the moment I’m using a responsive theme that allows surfing with a smartphone and displays articles in a convenient way.
– we are all waiting, of course, the iPhone version of the app !

It seems the developer has more or less left the project, and announced he couldn’t continue development as he’s alone. He’s then released it into open source. I think it’s a great project, unfortunately I have no Android development skills, but this is one of the best FREE APP MAKER for Android I’ve ever seen, to turn a WordPress blog into an Android App. This plugins is still downloaded quite often and it has very good potential !
