[Plugin] Featured Posts on Sidebar (need a widget)

Hi All,

I’ve been trying to get a widget for sidebar that is meant to be for a Feature List.
I wanna add some images in a slideshow style widget that will allow to click the images and will go to a website/post that i want.

I tried SmoothGallery (it’s the perfect one), but i have this problem everytime i put the widget and the post id that i want:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /wp-content/plugins/smoothgallery/smoothgallery.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I’m gonna tell you the steps i did to install SmoothGallery, cuz i read the instructions, but i’m all confused…don’t know if i have to insert any code in any .php file of my template. Here’s the sequence:

- I uploaded the plugin to /wp-content/plugins
- Activated the plugin in wordpress dashboard
- Went to widget menu and added it to side bar
- Gave it a name, entered the ID of a post with a picture

Anyway, i hope you can help me, if not with SmoothGallery, with another plugin.
