[Plugin: Featured Articles Lite] Modifying Basic Text Styles

There shouldn’t be any drop shadow on text in Featured Articles slideshows. I’m assuming this is from your theme stylesheet.
To remove it, you should place all CSS to do this into the slideshow theme CSS file. By default, slideshow themes are located inside plugin folder in folder themes. If you open it, you’ll see 3 more folders called classic, smoke and title_navigation. Inside each one you’ll find all files needed to display the theme.
