• Hi,

Im running 2 fs contact forms on the site and both one of them is running perfectly. The other form has 2 extra fields “your website” textbox field and a video attachment field.

When i submit the form with a URL in the “your website” textfield the form doesnt send, but everthing else works perfectly, I figured it might be my AKISMET blocking the form from spam but the problem still persists after disabling akismet. The form works when if I put normal text in the “your website” field and also sends attached files all as long as there is no URL in the field.

you can find the form at here and test it yourself put test in the subject just so i know its not random spam.

    any suggestions?

    awesome plugin btw
    thanks in advance

  • I had a form doing the same thing on HostGator. They were using mod_security. mod_security is an application firewall that uses filter rules to block malicious activity. In this case, it had a rule that was being triggered on the POST request when a field had a URL in it. All I had to do was open a support ticket, give them the URL to the form and ask them to remove the false positive rule that was causing it.

Let me know if this is any help.

    Mike
