• I’m actually using the PHP version of Fast Secure Contact Form, but thought that maybe someone here could help me.

I’ve installed the script and gone over the settings several times, but I continue to get an obscure error message when I try to send a test email from the Admin panel. Please take a look at these results. I’ve x-ed out the email addresses.

      With PHP mail:

    Test Message Sent
    Test mail to [email protected]

    The result was:

    bool(false)

      With geekmail:

    Test Message Sent
    Test mail to [email protected]

    The result was:

    bool(false)

The E-mail debugging output is shown below:

    email_send_failure_phpmail

    From: “Contact Form”
    Return-Path:
    Reply-To: “[email protected]
    X-Sender: [email protected]
    X-Mailer: WP geekMail
    X-Priority: 3 (Normal)
    Message-ID: <[email protected]>
    Mime-Version: 1.0
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset=
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit
    [email protected]?=
This is a test mail generated by the Fast Secure Contact Form PHP
    script. Sent with geekmail.

Does anyone have any idea what this means? The return address is set to a real email address at the domain. We recently had a different PHP email script running on this site, so I don’t think this error is due to a host limitation.

    Please help!

  • find this setting: “Send E-mail function:”, try setting it to PHP, then test from the contact form again. In some cases, this will resolve the problem.
