[Plugin: Fast and Secure Contact Form] Test Mail is working; Online Form is not

When I click submit, the page just redirects instead of posting any information to the program. Your server is the cause. This has nothing to do with email settings.

I have seen a problem like this before, it was IIS file accociation settings causing it. If you have permalinks with index.php in the path it might fix it. Other than that, I cannot help with IIS configurations, sorry.

I always recommend Linux hosting to my clients because I have less problems like this. Also you have PHP Version: 4.4.9
This old version is no longer secure or recommended. It was discontinued a couple years ago. I would change it right away to a new server running PHP 5.2 or higher.

Mike – I’m having the same issues as tessgadwa, only different details.

I’m using PHP 5.26 and on Linux host. I receive the ‘Test’ email fine, but nothing from the contact page. The emails i’m testing with are from the same domain as my site, and I’ve tried the ‘from’ and ‘to’ hacks in the FAQ.

When on the site, you have to
click Contact Us twice to get
the form. The fist click you
get this “[si-contact-form form=’1′]”

How do I resolve this?

I’m having the same issue as bforeste… The test email goes through just fine, but the form itself doesn’t work. This is somewhat complicated by the fact that the form worked when the site was launched, but has since started throwing an error.

mwgore, I just sent a test email from your form and it worked. what was the error? Did you just get my email?

I am having the same problems the contact form online is not working. The test from the plugin works. FSCF version 2.9.8.6 WP version 3.1.1

Make sure when you test from the test form, that you are sending to the same email address the form sends to for the test to really be effective.
