[Plugin: FAQs Manager] Single and double quotes in answer are escaped

  • Hi – great plugin by the way. Thanks.
    I have noticed that when my answer text contains either single or double quotes, when displayed, the quote symbols are being prefixed with a back-slash ‘\’ character – even though this does not appear in the answer text when editing. Is there a way to avoid this?

  • I notice that when adding a new question the WYSIWYG editor is an option (as well as HTML), but when editing only HTML appears and this appears to insert escape character before apostrophes. How do I get WYSIWYG in the amendment screen? (Normally WYSIWYG is set off for the user in profile, but in this case it isn’t.)
