    Andrew, I saw some similar questions already answered but didn’t get the straight answer.

    I’d expect the “desired page for slug archiving” to set the the permalink to that value. ie mydomain.com/faq/my-faq. However, each individual link is still being rewritten to use question rather than the faq I’ve set the slug to be.

    One of the previous posted you recommend to use htaccess to do the redirect. The gentleman having the 404 issues with his permalink has this setup exactly how I’d like it (mydomain.com/faq with all of the faq’s on it and the permalink to each faq being /faq/my-link) but not sure how he accomplished it.

    Am I misusing the desired slug or is it simply not working? I’ve saved my permalinks, etc, but no love. I’ve hacked around htaccess before but not sure how to redirect to a page that doesn’t technically exist.
