  • va3sie, Yours work on my side, it you still have any problem let me know.

e_lucia, i’m sorry i never saw something like that, my blog uses a child theme i made from thematic too and i have no problem with fancybox.

mushon, check if you edited the Padding option in the plugin options page, if you left the field empty try setting it to 0.

mushon by the way, on the page you linked your images are linking to the attachments post, for fancybox to work you have to make them link to the image files directly in the wordpress media uploader.

Oops… embarrassing example, it was indeed linking to the attachment page.

But the problem persists, even after setting padding:0

    syntax error
[Break on this error] 'frameWidth': ,\n

    check this post:

    Thanks for the fast response.

Go to the plugin options and in the “Other” tab scroll down and set frame width and height values to anything you want, default values should be fine (560, 340)

Well, no more JS errors, but the problem persists. No fancybox:

Any chance the plugin doesn’t work on Multisite?

I haven’t tested on multisite but it could have something to do.

Most of the options are blank in your blog and that’s what keeps the plugin from working and was causing js errors.

You can try going to the “Galleries” tab and selecting the first option (probably you’ll find nothing selected at the moment).

When this is done, another option that empty left will be saved to your blog and hopefully fixes the problem.

I will try to test the plugin in a multisite installation though and fix any possible problems related. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, checking the radiobox on the Galleries tab did the trick.
It seems like the problem is that Fancybox for WordPress ver. 2.7.5 does not add the default values in WordPress 3.1 in multisite when the plugin is activated via “network activate”?

Either way you might want to check another issue in WP3.1 when the user is logged in the admin bar covers the close button on large images.

These couple of issues might require a new bugfixes release.
Hope this is helpful and thanks for the great job.

(this is probably the best lightbox plugin I encountered)

Yes, a bugfix update is in the works maybe for tomorrow or Saturday.

Thanks for the suggestion about plugin activation on multisite, that very likely is the problems or at least part of it.

I will take a look at the admin bar beeing on top too.

Thanks for spotting those, and for the kind words. ??

    Great.
Please update us on the thread when the plugin is updated.

    cheers,
    M.
