[Plugin: Fancy article loader] 3.0 RC3 not working

    First thank you very much for your nice plugin ??

    I want to use it with my Blog (German https://sommergemuese.klee.in/ ) but if I activate this Plugin, WordPress doesn’t parse any Shortcode.

    So many plugins are not working like Download Monitor, Image Captions (Core WP of course hehe), Youtube Plugins (if I wouldn’t use oEmbed now)

    Maybe the reason could be it’s a Release Candidate of WordPress or something is wrong with my Theme ?? Oh and I use Buddypress too if it is Important .

  • I have not yet started developing plugins for RC version because I expect load of changes so I will wait for the final release and they you will have the plugin for version 3.0

    Also I have updated the plugin to work with almost every theme and prevented conflicts.

    Now there is new admin page in your admin dashboard where you can set if you want plugin to load jQuery for you or you have it loaded already. Also you can point to some external div where you would like to load your full post.

    I’m sorry to hear that this plugin doesn’t work for someone because I’ve really spent some time in developing it.

    Version 1.18 should work fine and it is also 100% compatible with wordpress 3.0 so go ahead and update.

    I’ve upgraded to WordPress 3.0 (stable) from 2.9.2 with fancy article loader installed. It has been working at that time; now, it’s not anymore.

    Error message
    Warning: require_once(/etc/wordpress/wp-settings.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /etc/wordpress/wp-config.php on line 76

    I am glad to help debugging but dont know what to do so I would need advice. I’d love continue using the plugin as i really like (so thankyou for that). But it is my understanding that security fixes and upgrades will only be delivered for 3.0 from now on, so I have no other choice.

    Is it possible to use the Fancy Article Loader to load the Article while clicking on Weiterlesen (Read more in English)?
