Plugin Failure

  • My Plugin page registers this message when I try to activate new plugins: When I went to manage my plugins, I got this screen message:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in (root directory) wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 1628

    What is wrong and how can I fix it?
