For some reason i disconnected the plugin from Pinterest but failed to connect back. It consistenly throws this error message and comes back to square one.

Here is where the plugin fails:

    1. Set up your business account>Connect your account to Pinterest>Connect (Works fine)
    2. Claim your website>Give Access (Works Fine)
    3. You just authenticated Pinterest>We’d like to redirect you to: https://example.com/wp-json/pinterest/v1/oauth/callback THAT’S MY SITE – REDIRECT ME (Fails lands me back on step-1 with the error message: Something went wrong with your attempt to authorize this app. Please Try again

    What i already tried?

    1. Tried disabling all the plugins except Pinterest for Woocommerce and Woocommerce itself.
    2. Changed the wordpress theme and tried with no luck.
    3. Contacted Pinterest support and i was told the problem comes from the plugin not from Pinterest.

I would really appreciate any assistance in this regard. This has been quite frustrating for a while now.

    Hi @nagri297

I understand the plugin is failing at the final authentication step. This is typically where the plugin communicates with your website and Pinterest to establish a secure connection. The error message you’re seeing indicates that the plugin is having trouble completing this step. Can you send over a screenshot of this error?

Given that you’re trying to connected to the correct Pinterest account we’d be more than happy to take a closer look. Please provide us with:

    1. Your site’s system status – You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply.
    2. Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > Status > Logs (if available).

    Thank you!
