Plugin Failed to Load

  • I’m getting the following error and the resume link is useless.

    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 222 of the file /home/uuenydgdg8a5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sucuri-scanner/sucuri.php. Error message: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘src/sitecheck.lib.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php72/usr/share/pear’)

    WP v 5.5.1, PHP v 7.3.6

    Is there anything I can do to resolve the error and get the site up again?

    And I’ve checked the file manager and there in fact is no sitecheck.lib.php file under the src directory.

    The site was fine last week – did the security plugin get itself hacked?
