• Hi,

this extension is quite handy. I believe this the one that fitted most my needs ?? Thx for your work.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, few things are not working as well as I expected.

    • The like button must be optional (people may want add Open Graph through your extension, but also want to use AddThis and not the default facebook like button.
    • The title of the home page contains the title of the last post. In my opinion, this is hazardous. After 50 likes, the opengraph meta are not read anymore by Facebook. So, theoretically, user that likes your site in two years, may broadcast the title of a post posted today. The same problem exists with categories.
    • It is not possible to add video, interactive flash content, music …
It is however in my opinion one of the most important features.

    Thx in advance !

    Regards

    Antoine Tissier

  • Thanks Antonie for your feedback. We’re on our way to fix things you’ve mentioned here. The next minor release will have the issues fixed and most probably you’ll be notified within your wp-admin ??

I like what I’m seeing but like Antoine, I think it needs a few things:

    • option to show / not show on individual pages as well as posts.
    • option above or below post

    Appreciate your work!
    Thanks,
    David

and I’d like to have a manual option, i.e. select when/where to show the like button

I totally agree with antoine_tissier. There should be the option to add Opengraph Meta to the homepage and category pages.
