[Plugin: FaceBook Like Button Plugin for WordPress] FB Like Button not showing on Blog

  • The FB Like Button does not show on blog, nor does the ‘preview’ of the button in the plugin options setup page. I use the Thesis Theme by DIYthemes. I checked other pages with the same theme that had the same plugin and it does not show there either. My website is:

    Please let me know what I need to do on my end.

    Found it! The secret is in how you are logged into Facebook. If you upgrade your page and select to “Use Facebook As [Your Page]” then your Like box, using any plugin, is going to be blank until you once again use Facebook as your personal profile.

    Weird, but true.

    Oh my! That’s right. I just logged-in to Facebook and the like button showed up on my blog, then it went away again when I switched to my FB Page. I guess any plugins to work with Facebook will have to be updated under the new rules. Let’s hope we get it to work in all instances soon.

    Just had exactly this problem, only just found this (presumably) new FB option. Soon as I opted to “Use Facebook as <page>” FBLike Button disappeared.

    Ditto! This is absolutely mental!

    So if I am logged in as my page can nobody see the ‘like button’? This is a massive bug surely?
