[Plugin: Facebook] Existing WP Comments Do Not Show Up Anymore

The Comments part of this plugin is intended to replace the WordPress comments with the FB Comments box. In other words, this is intentional.

well then, how do we “preserve” thousands of existing comments, rather than it be replaced by this plugin? will this work with disqus? or is it that the only solution is to disable facebook comments?

yes, there is a solution.

go to the plugins editor, select the Facebook plugin, and then select the file “facebook/style/hide-wp-comments.css”

change “display: none;” to “display: visible;”
