[Plugin: Facebook] Existing WordPress Comments Disappear?

    Hi, now that I’ve enabled the new FB plugin, my existing regular blog comments have disappeared entirely. Is this supposed to happen? Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Is there some way to:

    1) Either combine my existing comments with the new FB comments, or
    2) Enable regular (existing) comments and FB comments to both show up on the post?

  • It seems this plugin has no support, several mistakes have been pointed out, with no solution.

    I’ve seen the comments work with basic WordPress themes you can download here or from themesites, but I guess if you have a theme that does not derive from WP or major developers like ThemeForest, you’re SOL.

    The Facebook Comments Box is a replacement for the WordPress comments system. There is currently no way to sync comments between the two systems.
