[Plugin: Facebook Events Widget] Caught exception: Malformed access token

  • Hi there,

    I’m pretty new to this whole Facebook integration thing, so might be doing something very stupid. I have a private facebook page in which I want to pull events down to wordpress from.

    I’ve created an App – this could be my first problem. I made an app, associated it with my website…but not sure it’s associated with my Facebook page. How do I do/check this?

    I’ve generated the access codes etc, but it’s coming back with: Caught exception: Malformed access token

    Any ideas why this would be?

    most users use public pages so no one reported an error with the private.
    i’ll check it.

    hi,
    no idea why i first replied about private page. is it private?
    if not, u dont need to use the access token. just app id and secret.
    if it is, can u tell me how to change a page to be a private page so i can check it?
