[Plugin: Facebook Comments Importer] Work with Notes or more application?

Hi denharsh,

I’m using it on a blog with RSS Graffiti with no problem :
– the blog : https://www.chefnini.com
– the fan page : https://www.facebook.com/pages/chefNini/139604246060363

I’ve check your page and the problem is that the posts added by RSS Graffiti links to urls like

https://feedproxy.google.com/~r/Shoutmeloud/~3/Q8ZEG1Ip3iI/[permalink]

So Facebook Comments Importer doesn’t know that this URL is the same as

https://www.shoutmeloud.com/[permalink]

Facebook Comments Importer use this URL to link the FB post to the WordPress post.

Maybe you have to configure RSS Graffiti to directly check your blog feed (not the feedburner one) or configure Feedburner to show the real link.

For chefnini.com, I use Feedburner too and have no problem.

First, try to configure RSS Graffiti to check “https://www.shoutmeloud.com/feed”.

If it does’nt work, tell me what are the options enabled in your feedburner account.

If it works, please tell me anyway, I’m interested for this problem !

In my case this plugin only had imported, and detect it, one comment from my application page using RSS Graffiti, but not more.

It says:
– “El Historias” is a personal profile.
– At least one item of your wall is linked to a post of your blog.
– 1 comments found.

Ok, sorry. The plugin already detects again the comments. It was due to I had configured bit.ly in RSS Graffiti and them the plugin didn’t detected post as WordPress entries.
I hope in a few hours WordPress will add the new detected comments from Facebook.

K I just changed my feed to https://www.shoutmeloud.com/feed and will test the result ??

You have to know that the Facebook API is sometimes very slow or doesn’t respond at all. So comments can be imported after many, many hours in this situation.
For me, some days, comments can be imported only at night.

However, it seems to work well for many weeks now…

I’m trying to use with RSS graffiti too, but it doesn’t work..
I have configured RSS graffiti to the feed: https://www.magoz1.com/feed/
I’m using feedburner.

RSS graffiti works fine.
But Facebook comments importer plugin don’t work. In the configuration page on wordpress it says:

Error: Cannot find a post linked to this blog on the last 10 posts of the Facebook wall. Check that at least one post on your wall links to a post of your blog.

Can you help me?

@magoz : it’s the same problem of denharsh. You have to configure feedburner to show your real urls.

Remove the feedproxy link.
Its VERY easy !

I also gives the error “Unable to find a post linked to this blog in the last 10 posts in the wall of Facebook Make sure at least one post in their blogs from the wall to a post in his blog”, is that be a fan page? I have no fan page, use a profile but also worth it?

Thanks for the plugin. Your plugin worked great for the first day I had it installed, then it stopped working. I’ve deleted the plugin and reinstalled but no luck. In the dashboard it says it’s connected to my facebook fan page but has not imported comments for 3-4 days.

Also it only ever imported the first 25 comments. Is that a limitation of the plugin or does facebook limit it.
