  • Originally my comments box wasn’t showing up on my blog because there was a conflict when I had the Facebook Share plugin enabled as well. Is there a chance I can enable both in the future? Thanks.

    I just implemented this plugin for our site, https://grgrub.com, and it seems whenever anyone posts a comment it goes on EVERY post, not just the individual post. Please help!!!

    Hi Bryan, can you post a direct link to some of the posts you’re having problems with? I only saw disqus comment forms.

    HI, I’ve update this plugin to the latest version and now I got this error “Invalid or no certificate authority found, using bundled information” and the website crashes

    Hi! Good work! However, I cannot make the “Administer comments” link appear and so I cannot adjust anonymous posts. I know people have had this issue before. Do you know if I could do it somehow, or it is still a facebook side problem? I have looked at the widget page and saw the live demo working like a charm … ??

    mil0tche: From the WordPress dashboard, please Deactivate, then Delete the plugin. Then click ‘Add New’ and search for ‘facebook comments’ and install version 3.0.2. If this doesn’t fix your problem, let me know.

    Johm: Are you using facebook’s new system v2? If so, then unfortunatly, they have disabled anonamyous comments (see here).

    If, however, you’re using v1 (that is, in the plugin settings you have the first two boxes unchecked), post a link to your site along with a list of the plugins you’re using and I’ll try to help you out.

    Yes, both are unchecked. I am still developing it. You can see the problem at https://bit.ly/gOteN0 I am getting a lot of dubug notices because it seems that you haven’t defined a couple of indexes before checking them. Thanks a lot for your help and quick reply. Please delete the address above when you see it.

    I am currently trying various plugins, but I think I will erase most of them ?? Active Plugins: 3D Carousel Menu FX, Contact Form 7, Facebook Comments for WordPress, flickrRSS, Focus Slider FX, Font Resizer, ICIT Weather widget, Image Flow FX, Media Slideshow FX, Photo Flipper FX, qTranslate, Simple Weather, Social Media Widget, WordPress Popular Posts, WP-PageNavi, WP Google Weather, WP_Meteo3D Widget

    Graham’s plugin works perfectly if you use it correctly and without conflicting other Plugins.

    Don’t double up on these! –
    <script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1">
    Just use the <fb:like> part of the code once you have loaded the Javascript Asychronously inthe header.

    Also, Graham’s said it before but the deprecated Facebook “Share” tool (different from the “Like” plugin) can cause conflicts as well.

    I also call the Facebook Javascript library asychronously in my header to make all of my different Connect plugins work right:

    [Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

    we8u : I’ve tried to delete and reinstall but the 3.02 version doesn’t work and i got the same error “Invalid or no certificate authority found, using bundled information”. But the 1.52 version work well.

    This happened to me when I had an extra <script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"> on my page.

    That’s not work for me. i have fatal error en admin page of the plugin and the comment plugin is not shown in most of the post. This may be the errors?
