[Plugin: Facebook Comments for WordPress] Comments not showing in v2 – V1 Still showing :S

  • Thanks a lot for updating the plugin but it’s useless to me now because comments from V1 are not being carried over to V2. Is anyone else having this error?

    Hi Kyle, this is a facebook issue. You can use the “new” setting which gives most of the features of v2 while maintaining v1 comments.

    Another option would be to display both v1 and v2.

    To anyone else having the same problem, don’t rush like I did. The comments take a few minutes to come back when you change to “new.”

    Shaun, hi: Graham referred me to you. I have installed (I believe Graham’s version of) FB comment box on my site https://cheshmandaz.org. In some posts, the box doesn’t show, just the FB logo as if it tries but fails to download the box. Also: You put a comment in a box and it appears on your FB page. But NOT the other way around: you comemnt on your FB page and it doesn’t show on your site’s FB box. Same with Like button. If you could help with this? Would really appreciate it. Thanks, Abbas
    P.S.: Do you have a different version of FB box for WP than Graham? How do I get it?

    Me, again, Abbas. Now I understand that you, Shaun, have a new plugin. I had, advised by Graham, made a change to the css in order to do that without a plugin… A different ball game, isn’t it? Still, any advice?
