[Plugin: Facebook comments counter] Counter Won't Register in Sidebar Widget

Trying to get the comments to feed into and count inside my sidebar widget for “comments” and count towards comments in “most commented.” It’s actually not even counting comments in the “Comments” counter next to each post. Currently using the Gazette theme from WooThemes.
Would love any help!
