Make sure you’ve set up your app domain and your ‘Website with Facebook Login’ setting correctly.

This is an app settings issue. Per patv, ensure that the proper settings are filled in correctly.

Is there some step by step instructions for Idiots like me, or can you point me in the direction of another post that can help? I don’t even know what “Per patv” means. Sorry for the ignorance.

What’s your website URL?

What settings are you entering in the app settings form? (don’t paste your app secret, of course)

That will help us debug.

You must use cwa30403.ca in app settings on developers.facebook.com.

So where is the cwa30403.ca placed in the app settings?

App domain and all of the URLs.

I’ve done everything said here, but I’m still getting the same error code.

I also keep getting this message when I preview my website
“Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App’s settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App’s domains.”

Eilish: Same error code = same error. Go to your Facebook Application and correct the URL and domain settings.
