[Plugin: Facebook] Acces token keeps expiring… =(

  • Acces Token expired.. ALL THE F***ING TIME!!!
    Please do something about this. Can’t have to acces token expiring constantly.
    Or then you should say that everytime before you post something go check your FB settings and re-authotize….

    Error message:
    Failed posting to MY PAGE’s Timeline because the access token expired. To reactivate publishing, visit the Facebook settings page and re-enable the “Publish to fan page” setting. Full error: {“message”:”Error validating access token: Session has expired at unix time 1340542800. The current unix time is 1340551474.”,”type”:”OAuthException”}

  • I’ve just received this message too – but a reminder to check FB settings and re-authorise is not going to help.

    There are users who can post content my site who do not have access to the FB settings page and therefore are unable to re-authorise, whose new content should post to the ‘Fan Page’ automatically.

    Has anyone figured out a solution to this? It’s also happening when I try to auto-publish with simple facebook connect.

    Im getting this error too. Right pain, as the plugin is great other than this major issue. It posts to my personal timeline every time without fail but not the fanpage.
