[Plugin: Events Manager] When submitting a booking there is no on page confirmation

    I should also add that I do get the spinning wheel and overlay when I press “Send your booking” but after a few second it disappears and the page does not update.

    Have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    in your case your theme is not even removing the default jquery script, but the same principle as the link above.
