[Plugin: Events Manager] Version 5 Indexing Feature and Posts Issues

  • Hi Marcus,

    I’ve just noticed the issue with Google indexing. I should have copped given the way events are not actual posts etc..

    My questions are:
    – will version 5.0 resolve these issues?
    – will updates be backwards compatible (we’re building a site and want to know will we be able to keep any event/blog/other info if we upgrade?
    – what is a realistic timeline for version 5.0 (I understand software development cycles, so I know an exact date is unlikely, but a ballpark should be doable!)
    These are important issues which really need some answers as I’m sure you are aware. I would appreciate some feedback on them, as I need to know if it is realistic to expect them to be resolved soon or if I should be looking at another plugin for this particular project?

    answered your email, but to others readiong:

    if you’re depending on 5.0 features under a specific time frame, we can’t help you there. some things can’t be rushed, this is one of those features.

    we are making headway though and the moment we have something to show, we will!
