[Plugin: Events Manager] Trouble Saving or Updating Events – DB Error Unknown Column

    I’m using WP 3.4.2 with Events Manager 5.2.5 and I’m having trouble with adding or saving events. When I save a new event or update an old event, I get this message:

    Your event details are incorrect and cannot be published, please correct these errors first:

    Something went wrong updating your event to the index table. Please inform a site administrator about this.

    WP Debug produced this error:

    WordPress database error Unknown column ‘event_rsvp_time’ in ‘field list’ for query…

    This is the only error related to Events Manager.

    Under options.php, my dbem_version is currently set to 4.9. It did not work when I found the problem and this was set at 4.07 nor when I changed this setting to 5.1.
