    tested… 2.1 activaded correctly but 2.2 has error…

Same here.. where can I get version 2.1?

Ok I have the same problem with version 2.1
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in \(..)\wp-content\plugins\events-manager\dbem_events.php on line 2289 – that’s end of the file. Any fix for that?

I hope the author reads it, but line 1068 uses php short tag, that doesnt help resolving the issue, but is still a minor bug. Short tags shoud be banned, seriously most hosting providers don’t allow it. Any fix coming for activation bug anytime soon?

ditto. I would recommend returning to 2.0rc however as 2.1 is also v buggy.

Still hoping this will be fixed though – as it is an excellent plug-in in theory. My only issue with version 2.0 is that the event details (notes) section is inactive on the add event screen.

Sorry guys I am posting this under your thread because the threads that I start never show up, ?? and I’ve already told WordPress about it but haven’t heard anything.

When I create a recurring event the category doesn’t transfer to all the recurring events, I have to go in and set the category for each! Does anyone know how to fix this?

there is error in the same file dbem_events.php in the following line,
    1270
    1381
    1442
    1443
    1465
    1472
    1593

they have used <? only and now change it to <?php then it will work nicely. Cheers!

This should all be fixed in the latest version. You can also download my “fixed” version, read the thread https://davidebenini.it/events-manager-forum/topic.php?id=317. In short:

    – in dbem_recurrence mysql table, create column event_category_id as in table dbem_events (this probably can be done in events-manager.php for new installations, in the function dbem_create_recurrence_table)
    – update to my version: https://users.telenet.be/liedekef/events-manager-2.2.2-new.tgz
