[Plugin: Events Manager] Lost all my events entries when upgrading to EM 3.0

  • Hey guys,

    Yesterday I decided to upgrade from Events Manager 2.x to the newest version 3.0.

    I did this using the automatic update system in wordpress, however when I did it…I’ve completely lost all my entries. My events page templates now look like this:

    Before I updated, this was an event page, but after update it has completely lost all it’s data.

    Why is it not able to call the original data properly???

    Hi PF,

    We have new tables, and it should have imported automatically, something probably went wrong there. There should be a re-import link in Events > Help in the admin menu, can you try that and see what happens?

    By the way, if you have other event plugins, I advise you deactivate those first.

    I don’t seem to have the re-import link?

    I get a re-import bookings link in a message on the settings page, but nothing on the help page

    is this events you’re trying to bring back up? the link is for bookings only, not events, if your events are missing, it’s probably a user capabilities setting in your Events > Settings page.

    A few people had this issue, am trying to duplicate it as I never got this (if you are ok with giving me creds, send a mail via the contact form on our site)

    I didn’t realize I was posting to an old thread – this is related to the 4.0RC – I was able to get my events back by downgrading to 3.0.98
