    Since the installation of Event Manager I receive this Javascript Error whenever a user is accessing his/her event profile in the buddypress environment.
    So somewhere is a conflict with the cookies handled in Event Manager.
    I could unregister the WP script yet I need to know if this is safe?
    An answer is very much appreciated.

    Ok thorough check :
    it occurs only on pages where user can edit – add and delete content.

    Anybody else experiencing this?
    You need to have error reporting on in browsers to see this js conflict

    Worse we receive Unauthorized Access up to the Super Admin when trying to add categories at the MU sub web sites, Administrators of these sites have only read access to this module.

    In Event Manager Settings, Admins and Editors are allowed to edit categories.

    When in admin section no matter if on the sub domain or main site – when entering the Events we receive this error in the footer of the admin panel: Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, ‘wp_tiny_mce_preload_dialogs’ was given in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 395
    As soon as we click away to another plugin – it magically disappeared.

    So we either have set it up entirely wrong – yet we deinstalled it – removed all clutter from the db installed the 4.0.6 version just to find in the db the version set to 4.03
    Really have no thought on this how to resolve this as we have various clients that are interested in an event web site. This is therefore the first time we use it – more for test purpose as this web site rquires still some work.
    Another thing we found is that the SMTP password is in the DB readable. So we will not use this feature.

    Marcus this is resolved.
    The programmer had deregistered one script of buddypress for the main web site – stupid mistake! All on our side – 8-[
    After applying it solely to the page in question your scripts work like charm!
    No more errors!
    Just do us all a favor and change the SMTP password that is not as plain text in the db anymore we would like to buy this script and hopefully many more.

    btw, smtp could be done on your side. easiest way is to hook into the get_option(‘dbem_smtp_password’) and hash it yourself with a function. That’s be the kinda function I’d whip up for a pro member ??

    will put that in the todo list, i agree that obscuring it would be better.
