    Hi

when I type the address of the place I work, it still grabs the old address from 2 years ago. Using the BIG Google works fine, so the Google Database is either different between BIG and the small map, or the parameters are used differently…?

Why would the MAP in this plugin get oly the old address right, not the new one like big brother ?

    Thanks!

  • what we pass to google is just a concatenation of the address, in the order of address to country in the form. that’s a google issue or a typo of some sort

I checked it again, and it seems, that even big Google does not find it anymore. Not sure I come I saw it working before. Perhaps a personalisation thing – I requested a address update.

I have added a post for the location being optional for events. Hope this will be in next releases ??

    Thanks

Just loaded up Version 4.304 but I’m getting ‘Map unavailable’ on all my events. No doubt I have missed something obvious being a noob. Any ideas what?

Huh? That’s odd. It suddenly appeared in edit event!

Curiouser and curiouser. The map comes up in some events but in others it doesn’t in spite of being visible in edit mode. Now most of my images seem to have disappeared. WTF?!

    Hi,

can you post those url that is working and those that have issue?

And now they are back again. For some reason, WP seemed to randomly look in the old location for WP. I don’t think this issue is EM related…

location optional is in the beta of v5 already.

    @info@esinem…
there’s usually two reasons for unavailable maps:
    a) the location can’t be found on google maps
    b) if you’re using locations maps.google.com finds correctly, and all your maps aren’t showing, it could be a js error/conflict with your theme/plugin, do you have a link?

It think it was a legacy of some screwed up paths. It all seems OK thanks. Very nice plug in!

I assume it must be possible to link booking and payment. Are there any guides on this?

    Hi,

Yes, however Events Manager Pro supports paypal and offline payment.

    check the docs – https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/

you can take payments and confirm the booking in free mode, but for payments via paypal and automatic linking etc. it’s available in the pro version
