[Plugin: Events Manager] Form not submitting

  • If you fill in the registration form and you click on the send button it does not send and it stays on the page with the information you have entered still in the form. If I de-activate the events manager plugin, clear cache, and re-activate the plugin it works but I have to do that on a daily basis.

    Anybody any idea what goes wrong?

    Version of the plugin is 5.1.3

    1. do you have a sample link?
    2. try to temporarily deactivate other plugins or revert to default theme.

    I tested your site bookings and seems to work fine? (just delete my bookings). Also, try to turn-on WP_DEBUG to see if there’s any other error or see your browser error console and if you have a cache plugin?

    Hi,

    Thanks for testing, I saw your booking.

    Will turn on WL_DEBUG as soon as I know how ??

    If this happens again I will turn on the browser error console

    I use a cache plugin W3 Total Cache

    It seems that this problem happens when I am logged in to my WP dashboard only.

    As soon as I am logged out from the WP dashboard all works fine.

    Can you try the latest version 5.1.5 or use the dev version instead?

    do you mean just logged out as a guest, or are you trying to do something in your wp admin area?

    w3tc does work, so it might be something else (or maybe your w3tc cache settings).

    Hi Marcus,

    Just trying to do something in my wp admin area.

    On the other hand maybe relevant information but I am on wp version 3.2.1 and use events manager version 5.1.3

    Somehow I cannot upgrade from that version to 5.1.5, when I visit the plugin area within wp admin and I select events manager it does not display the installation button.

    Installing manually does nothing as well, error reads ‘there is already a folder with name /events-manager/

    which registration form is this? we don’t have any I can think of for registrations
