• When entering a Location for a new event
if you enter the a word in the NAME: field which coincides with the name of an existing Location a list of matching locations appears and if one is selected it populates the rest of the location details.

But this only happens if the site visitor is Logged in.
It does not work for a non logged in anonymous user ?

Is there some reason for this ?

    Nope Janet,
No solution and no response here other than yours.

    Hi Wattagan,

Just found out that with the new version of WP and the new version of Events Manager this problem is solved.
    Isn’t that great.

    Thanks Janet,
That’s nice to know because I have just had to junk my complete installation and all it’s data to upgrade to new WP and EM versions because of another problem with EM which resulted in corrupting all my events.
Now can’t even manage to re import the events into the new version so all the work is LOST and it’s hardly worth continuing with the site ??
