After upgrading to the latest version, using the “Update” link in Plugins on the Dashboard, all plugins admin pages are blank. Being blank I can not disable the plugin through WP admin, nor can I see any plugins whatsoever. All EventsManager associated pages are also blank, e.g. /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&page=events-manager-options and wp-admin/plugin-editor.php and all others. Every page in admin associated with plugins or EventsManager is completely blank now.

    WP v3.3.2
    Host: bluehost
    EventsManager version: 5.1.7 installed/inactive now.

The only way to reverse this was to log onto my server and delete EventsManager. This has left half my site no longer working and it’s a busy time in my town so missing lots of opportunity to let people know what’s going on this weekend.

Any ideas (I know my way round files etc, but am not competent at anything really technical, so if you get technical be specific too please)

    Any ideas?

  • hi,

did you get any error? or using wp-config.php you can add define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );. Also, what you can do is go to your phpmyadmin then wp_options > option_name <active_plugins> you can either delete or change the <option_value field> value (this will make all your plugins deactivated and from there you can determine which causes the error or it could be a theme conflict)

    There were no errors whatsoever.

I logged in, clicked onto the Plugins page, it was all there – EventsManager was indicating there was an upgrade, I clicked on “automatic upgrade” and upon returning to the plugins page (or any page related to the plugin) it was completely empty.

As for the rest – I’d need a clear head to get round to doing those things, so maybe later.

check your PHP logs, but do try deactivating your plugins / revert to 20 11 theme to see if one of these are doing it, chances are it’s one of those
