[Plugin: Events Manager] Events only displaying when logged in

  • I think I may be missing something here (or it could be I’m just dead tired) but my events are only displaying on the page when I am logged into the WordPress admin panel. When I log out, they disappear and I only see “No events” displayed. Any clue what I’m missing?

  • I’m not familiar with the Events Manager plugin, but it is certainly a permissions problem. In the Events Manager, there must be some way to give groups different permission to see and/or edit events. You will need to all Subscribers the ability to see the events.

    They may also set up separate group structure within the plugin as well. Check those permissions.

    You are definitely right. Turns out a recent upgrade added a new feature, permissions for editing and creating events. Once I changed that they all appeared. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    yes, some new perms are in there too, and if you switch them you may not see events depending on who created them and when.
