  • Hi,

Did you customized the single event template? if yes, try to rename that temporarily to see if that will solve the problem.

Also if you have other plugin try to deactivate those temporarily or change to default theme just to make sure that its not a plugin conflict.

No, like I stated… all of my settings are default. It was a great plugin up until this happened….

have you tried re-saving your permalink settings under settings > permalinks?

do the events still show up in the admin area?

check https://wp-events-plugin.com/blog/2012/01/05/events-gone-after-upgrading-read-this/ to see if that applies to you

When I first did the upgrade I re-saved the permalinks in both the WordPress settings as well as the Events Manager Settings. That did not help me either. I am beginning to think it is my theme that is causing the issue but I cannot pinpoint it. I tested this in my development environment with a different theme and it seemed to work. however, using it with the theme I have now, it does not seem to like the custom post types.

I am using the Startup theme from HighThemes. I have a static homepage set with a static Blog page as well. I am not sure if that is causing the issue.

Also, within the EM plugin settings I have changed the Events List/Archive to read from a custom page I set up, Classes. The events show up fine when you view that page. However, when you select a particular event it sends you to the page where it should be but with whatever content is in the no events field in your settings.

Any suggestions on what might be causing that to happen?

Sorry, to answer your second questions, yes my events show up in the admin area as well as on the Event List/Archive page. It is just when I attempt to view the event details on a single page/post that I cannot get information.

    **Update**

So after some more trial and errors while troubleshooting, I looked into the template files that I moved over. I deleted the entire directory from the themes/mytheme/plugins/events-manager and that seemed to fix my issue.
