    Are your other emails working in EM (e.g. try testing your mail connnection when visiting the email settings).

    Yes it seems so… I also tested it with the mail connection feature you mentioned and I get a message that it works. My guest user for the submission form has an email-adress that is identical to the administrator adress… maybe that’s the problem?

    probably. I’m not sure how you managed to even register someone with the same email… that shouldn’t be possible.

    I used an alias. I just thought maybe there is no approval mail because of the admin status or something like that.

    approvals are required even if you’re an admin.

    when testing the connection, are you sending it to the same admin email? if not, try using a generic webmail in case it’s something to do with your mail server.
