[Plugin: Events Manager] Event (joining) is shown two times in Activity wall (bp)

Did you try to revert back or preview it using default theme? also, try disabling other plugins to see if it’s a theme or plugin conflict.

Seems like there is something wrong with the theme that I am using… ??

actually, I can see how this’d happen, we had a similar bug with new event activities belonging to groups, should have checked this one too! will fix asap

@netweblogic hi, is there a fix for this? I have just downloaded the latest EM but seems like the double activity entry is not fixed esp when the event is belonging to group. Thanks

as far as I′m aware this was fixed… are you referring to new activities? old ones won’t get deleted this only applies to new ones.

@netweblogic this is for new activities after the update. will try to reinstall and test our a few event registration.

what about different activity types, e.g. new group event, will attend, etc.?

@netweblogic — i downloaded em5.4.2 and got the following:
a) username is still shown with dot in the activity wall (attending non-group event, a group event which is not tested)

b) when the user’s booking is deleted in the dashboard (admin), the resulting activity feed is “user is attending event” .. it should be “not attending..”. It appears normal is the booking is “rejected”.

aglonwl — this is just the activity wall feed. The username link to profile, that has dots is shown instead of the nicename with hypen.

a) I tried this and didn’t happen on my test site
b) I get this too, I’ve let Marcus know about it. should get fixed soon.

i tested this and i don’t get a new activity feed, but the old activity feed remains.

If this is what you get/mean, I think this is “correct”, because if you want to reject/cancel a booking, that’s when it should show a not-attending notice.

by the way, the dot wasn’t fixed (yet), but the duplicates were in the dev version 5.2.4.1
