• When i click on add event the featured image is the previous one i uploaded. Even when i select ‘choose file’ and navigate to my new image and then submit event this featured image does not update and my event seems to have no image stored. i have to ‘choose file’ again, ‘submit event’ again and then the image has been uploaded.

I am using Chrome 11.0. is this an issue with this browser or something consistently wrong with events manager?

    Thanks
    Martin

  • I seem to have been having similar problems on Firefox tonight.

I’m having the exact same problem.

If I use a recurring event, I will not be able to add them at all ?? Help. Tested in chrome, safari, and firefox?

Was having the same issue, but found uploading the image in the details section works better rather than using the ‘upload image’ function for the event, especially if using recurring events.

yes, for recurring events there’s a bug we’re working on fixing

r.e. the image and cache issue, we’re looking into too but maybe not today’s update

I have the same problem too, I need to choose and submit the image twice before it works.

I think an image upload like the one magic fields uses would be perfect. I love the image upload that magic fields creates ??

I am having a problem where a user submitted an image when creating an event, and that image is being reproduced in the image uploading area anytime any other events are being edited or created.

Once removed the image is simply replace with another… any suggestions on how to solve this? Thx!

    try the latest update.

aksparling, look in your uploads folder for your events images and delete a file called events-.jpg (or any other image extension)

Marcus,I’m new to Events Manager Extended. I have the wordpress 3.1.3 and EME Version 3.3.5. I’m trying to get the image that I have placed in event to show on the events list. Here is a sample of the post https://vegasbynyte.com/events/91/reggae-vybz-thursday/

I have added the #_eventimage placeholder in the “Default event list format” section. Here is how the code looks in that section.

    • #_EVENTIMAGE #j #M #Y – #H:#i
      #_LINKEDNAME
      #_TOWN
    • please advise.

extended is not Events Manager, see the EME readme
