I’m using the WordPress Events Manager (this one: https://wp-events-plugin.com) v. 5.0.42 (updated through the backend from the previous version) and I’m having a problem when duplicating events. I’m duplicating them and only changing the date and time, or in some cases just one of the two, and nothing else. When I do this, the category field of the original copy becomes un-checked. So every time I duplicate an event, I have to then go back into the original event’s editor and re-check the category.

Is this a common problem with the latest version? Is anyone else having this issue? Could updating it from the previous version have messed something up? I’ve tried deleting and re-making the categories but it still does it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeremy

Nevermind! The display was just confusing. Upon duplicating an event, the new copy appears BENEATH the original in the events listing. At first I thought the new duplicates came after. What’s more, new duplicates have no category by default. So when you edit the duplicate to change the date/time, also check the category.

    Thanks!
