[Plugin: Events Manager] Does event-manager send email announcements of events?

currently, EM does not send email announcements however is it some sort of a reminder before the events or when new event is created?

Yes, that was the question. Does EM send an email when a new event is created, a confirmation of booking or a reminder before the event? I understand you to be confirming that it does not. Correct?

Ok, it does send invitations, confirmations, etc. We need to know how people can opt out or we will go with another plugin.

it doesn’t atm (something we’ll be adding to Pro soon), but one thing you can do for new events is use RSS campaigns with 3rd party mailing services, e.g. mailchimp and read our event RSS feed.

I would like to know more about this topic.
I would like to have the automatic invitation only to event author friends, or to give to the event author the choice on friends/members to invite.
Is it possible? I mean in the pro version too.
How does it work by default?

Does this feature now available on the Events Pro edition? This would be really cool. Basically a site that I’m working on needs this feature so any information or alternatives will be more than appreciated.
