    We just upgraded to WP 3.4 (multisite) and EM 5.1.8.3. After filling out a guest event submission, it displays “Dates must have correct formatting. Please use the date picker provided.”

    The date picker works fine and enters today as 06/19/2012. However, the code in classes/em-event.php is checking to see if the date is in the format yyyy-mm-dd. Why would this check be hard coded when the format for a date will change across the world?

    I just tried it again using version 5.1.8.3 and doesn’t happen to me. Try refreshing your browser, the problem is that when you upgraded, our JS file changed, but chances are your browser still has a cached version with code that’ll stop everything working in 3.4.

    I just tried it with 3 different browsers, after clearing cache. I also tried it on two other computers that have never accessed the site before. There is no way they could have cached any files. All of them produce the same error about the date format.

    Perhaps you would like to test it for yourself with your working browser.

    I am having this same issue. Has anyone found a fix yet?

    I just tried your site and got the same issue. I tried your site date picker date format mm/dd/yy to my test site but its still working fine. Can you try to disable plugins or revert back to default theme so that we can determine if it’s a plugin or theme conflict?

    I’m not sure how this got marked resolved, because it wasn’t resolved until recently. The plugin Shortcodes Ultimate was apparently interfering with Events Manager. Going into SU settings and checking the option to disable formatting fixed the problem.
