  • hello,

have you tried switching to default theme or deactivating other plugins installed temporarily could be a conflict.

and also did you make any changes on EM like its templates?

    Thanks for the reply.

I tried your suggestions and the one that worked was installing it on a new theme.

I’d really like to get this plugin or the paid one cooperating with my premium theme, which I think are both great. Would you recommend that I ask my theme developer to do the customization? Or try to upgrade to the paid one to see if it works.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

    Hi,

I think I’ve found the source of the problem. My theme is running on JQuery 1.4.1 and Events Manager is running on 1.8.5. I’m not sure how significant the functionality differences are, but if it’s possible, I’d like to try to rollback the Events Manager JQuery. Please let me know if that’s worth a try and how I might go about doing it.

If it’s not worth a try, I’ll look for a developer who might be able to upgrade my theme. The original developer isn’t available for any freelance work.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

we run on the jquery WP uses. your theme is wrong for trying to load it’s own jquery, it’s guaranteed to create problems with other plugins. you need to remove that dependency from the theme

Thanks, Marcus. A developer is working on a solution now. I hope we can get it to work. I really like the plugin.
