[Plugin: Events Manager] Conflict between Events Manager and bbPress Translation

  • Hello there…

    I’m having an issue with bbPress German Translation and Events Manager.

    I translated bbPress uploading the files bbpress-de_DE.mo and bbpress-de_DE.po to ../wp-content/languages/bbpress/

    Whenever I active Events Manager I cannot access the admin panel anymore, it turns white.

    When I delete the folder bbpress from ../wp-content/languages/bbpress/ and put bbpress back to English version, then it works and I am able to both use Events Manager and bbPress.

    I think there’s and issue with the translating file, but no idea where that conflict originates.

  • can you turn-on WP_DEBUG to see if there’s any other error?

    Seems odd that translations alone would cause this. Might be running out of memory because of the size of the translations themselves. Try bumping your available memory for PHP, and report back. (A Google search on your particular server setup wirss help more than we can regarding that.)

    agree with jjj, I’d guess it’s an out of memory errror, turning on WP_DEBUG will probably give you a better idea
