[Plugin: Events Manager] Communication with Attendees

I have just downloaded and started to play with Events Manager (EM) and I am a relatively new WordPress user, too. I have a few questions regarding EM. I have looked through the forum and FAQ and have not spotted similar questions. I hope I have not overlooked a posting.
1. As people register for an event and get approved in EM, it looks like they get automated e-mails. This is great. Now if I need to send an e-mail to them before or after that event, is that possible?
2. Am I correct to assume that EM will send an automated e-mail to approved (or pending) attendees when something about an event has changed? For example, if the venue has been moved or the time of the event changed, will this be communicated automatically once the event information has been changed?
3. If an event is sold-out, does EM offer waiting lists? If so, as bookings are cancelled and spaces become available, are automated messages sent to the top people on the waiting list inviting them to register (say, within 24 hours)?
